Last month, comedian and television host Steve Harvey aired an episode of his talk show that featured several racist comments about Asian men. He started by listing absurd titles for dating advice books, and when he got to “How To Date A White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men,” he said that this book would only be a page long. Not only that, but its sequel “How To Date A Black Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men” would also only be a page long.
Once again, Asian men have become the butt of the jokes for comedians to get cheap laughs out of their audience.
You don’t have any good material? Then talk about how Asian men have small penises, how they’re shorter than all other races, or how they can’t find girls to date because they can’t speak English and only play Yu-Gi-Oh. That’s always hilarious and definitely not dehumanizing to the millions of Asian men out there in the world.
Obviously, no. So let’s take a look at some handsome Asian male celebrities to prove to Steve Harvey and other ignorant people in the simplest way that, yes, Asian men are just as handsome as you. Some are probably even more handsome.

People don’t usually realize Zayn is Asian, but he’s half Pakistani; therefore, he’s a good looking guy who also happens to be Asian.
6. Harry Shum, Jr.
Harry Shum, Jr. played Mike Chang on “Glee” for six years, and currently stars in “Shadowhunters.” He’s also a very talented dancer.
7. Steven Yeun
Our OG, Steven Yeun! You may recognize him as Glenn from “The Walking Dead,” and how he constantly breaks dehumanizing and immasculating Asian male stereotypes on the show — all while also defeating walkers. No big deal.
