10 Reasons Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers is the Best Character on TV

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

Tina Belcher is the awkward teenage girl in the corner of the classroom making weird humming noises or reading a book under the lunch table. But, that’s what makes her so freaking awesome. Tina isn’t afraid to just be herself and let her personality, as weird and uncomfortable as that may be, shine through. With her signature glasses and deep voice, Tina Belcher is one of the funniest, most relatable, and best characters on TV. And here’s why…

1. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

2. She’s just a normal girl, like you and me.

3. She’s a loving daughter.

4. She exuberates confidence like nobody else.

5. She’s one hell of a woman and doesn’t let anyone stop her from showing her feminist side.

6. She doesn’t mind being a little rebellious every once and awhile.

7. She’s a great driver.

8. She isn’t afraid to go after what she wants.

9. She admits when she’s wrong or has a problem.

10. She isn’t shy in regards to talking about her sexuality.

Tina Belcher is just one of those characters we can just all relate to during our teenage years. With all the hormones racing in our bodies and guys to impress, Tina just gets it. And I’d say we all have a little Tina inside us just waiting to come out.
