Finding a Valentine is not like in elementary school where a piece of candy and a “To & From” was enough to call someone yours without knowing them. Malcolm Hayes knows what he’s looking for in a woman- he just hasn’t found her yet. He’s a first year student with a mind like a graduate. At 6’2”, Malcolm is young, athletic and available. He’s also a forward for the UMaine Black Bear hockey team. In his own words, “I’m looking to have fun right now, but I’ll take a chance on a pretty woman. Who knows where it could take us.”
His ideal date is Netflix and pizza. His favorite celebrity is Kevin Hart. Malcolm is from the ATL in Georgia and, as a bachelor of course, his favorite place to go is Magic City. He believes in Jesus, love at first sight, and says that his spirit animal is a lion. Malcolm often hangs at Wells when he’s on campus. On the ice, he has 4 goals, 2 assists and 6 points on average.
What’s a duo though wihtout your running man?
Mark Hamilton is never far from Malcolm, but he’s no one’s second choice. He is a first year defensive player for the UMaine hockey team. At 6’3” he averages 4 assists and 4 points. He admits he is taken, but don’t get down! His answers to our questions might enlighten you on other guys you may not have thought were possibilities.
Unlike your average guy, Mark admits you can find him most often at Fogler Library. He says that he’s saving himself for marriage. His ideal date is drinks at the Roost while his spirit animal is an Orca. Being from Boston, his favorite celebrity is Mark Wahlberg. When he goes back home to visit, he loves going to the beach.
Now let’s be honest, what girl chooses a guy without a little input from her friends? Being a girl’s girl, we’ll give you our personal opinion of each cutie.
Malcolm is upfront about what he wants and would make a girl very happy on this special day. He’s the very definition of “bachelor” and his spirit is fun, not to mention highly attractive.
Mark is reserved, but has a strong spirit. He is definitely committed once he is tied down. Mark can party hard and make a girl remember why they wanted a Ken for their Barbie. They just look so good together! (Look, but don’t touch ladies. Remember he’s taken!)
