Friday Fashion Find: Jean Shirt
This weeks Friday Fashion Find is a jean button down shirt from Delia’s that can be found in our very own Bangor Mall ! Jean on jean has been seen as a horrendous, fashion faux pas until recently. Mixing denim items on top and bottom is truly a talent and here is one way of tackling this season’s trend.
Try choosing a jean shirt in a color far lighter or darker than the pair of pants you plan to wear. Here is a worn jean color button down paired with slimming, dark jeggings. If fears of being called out on wearing a ‘Canadian tuxedo’ (Canada is really just ahead of the fashion game) still worries you, then layer on top a lose fitting jumper in a neutral color and roll the under shirt sleeves up and over the top layer. The jean shirt then only peaks out at the waist, sleeves, and collar. Finish with some cute boots, bag and jewelry and you are ready to show everyone that jean on jean can be done and most importantly is stylish.
