With warmer weather and bikini season right around the corner, UIowa students are coming out from the shadows to soak up the sun. Whether it be getting into shape or popping the top off to get that first base tan, the Coralville Reservoir is the place for you! With a 4.4-mile loop trail you can kick your butt into shape while taking in the beautiful sights and sound or show off that cute new suit at the laid-back beach area! It really is the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon by yourself or with friends. The best part about it is that it’s only about 15 minutes off campus! The reservoir is located North of Iowa City, Iowa. From I-80 take Exit 244 (Dubuque St.); go North 3 miles to West Overlook Road and proceed 1/4 mile to the park areas.
