Meet campus celeb, Damian Jordan! Damian is a sophomore at the university studying Business and Marketing but his true passion is singing. From serenading fraternity women to performing onstage, Damian shows off his vocal skills on a daily basis. Despite this, he always has time for his brothers. As Brotherhood Chair for Pi Kappa Phi, he makes his brothers a pancake breakfast every Sunday.
How long have you been singing?
I started singing when I was twelve.
What made you want to start singing?
When I was younger my mom would play Mariah Carey and boy bands, and I would always sing along. I didn’t really get serious about it until I was twelve though.
Are you considering pursuing singing?
Most definitely. I’m probably going to audition for The Voice at some point.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Touring nationally and making music.
What’s your favorite song?
“I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” by the Backstreet Boys.
Nice. And what’s the song that’s stuck in your head right now?
“What do you mean,” by Justin Bieber
Describe yourself in one word.
