6 Places In Iowa City That Make The Perfect Instagram Picture

Everybody wants a cute Instagram feed, there’s no doubt about it. Thankfully for us, Iowa City and the University of Iowa have beautiful and unique spots that will make your feed look chic and put-together. Explore Iowa City to find all the great places you can take photos!

1. Yotopia’s Mural

Who doesn’t want to take a cute pic next to that happy cow? After enjoying some delicious froyo, you can snap a picture while enjoying the weather. 

2. The Pentacrest

The Pentacrest is so large, that you can use it for as many posts as you want! Whether you’re studying on the steps of the Old Capitol or are napping under a tree, every spot on the Pentacrest is perfect for a photoshoot. 

3. College Green Park

Located a block away from D.P. Dough, College Green Park has a lot to offer—you can pose on the painted stairs, relax in the gazebo or have a picnic on the grass. No matter where you go here, it’ll look great and add a springy vibe to your feed.

4. Molly’s Cupcakes

The inside of Molly’s is adorable—there are swings to sit on, cupcakes to munch on and board games to play while you’re hanging out. Food always gets likes on Instagram, and a cute cupcake will look great on any day.

5. The Ped Mall

There are so many unique and interesting places within the Ped Mall that you could find a new place to photograph every day. Look out for the painted benches, statues, outdoor seating and more. 

6. Gabe’s

Gabe’s, a restaurant and bar known for its live music, has a grungy feel to it, especially if you decide to eat outside by its famed grafitti wall. You can take a few pictures while enjoying some delicious food.
