Things You Can Do To Fight The Post-Spring Break Blues

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Delaware chapter.

Welcome back Blue Hens! Hopefully, all of you had a wonderful spring break. If you’re like me, you probably feel a little bit bummed knowing that you’ve got about 2 months left of school before summer vacation. However, don’t let that keep you down! Here’s a few things that you can do in Newark to have a little bit of fun while you ease your way back into spring semester:

Treat Yo Self on Main Street

You’ve worked hard all semester long to get to this point. Go treat yourself to something pretty from one of Main Street’s wonderful stores. An accessory from Alex and Ani or Heart and Home are my personal recommendation!

Work It Out at the Lil Bob

Elle Woods said it best! It’s a proven fact that endorphins make you happy. Why not go make use of the Lil Bob’s gorgeous facility? The next 7 weeks are going to be stressful, but you can always go work out some of that stress at the gym.

Have A Girl’s Night In

Gather up some of your best girl friends and have a girl’s night in! What’s better than a movie night with some delicious snacks and your best friends? Spend the night catching up on what you did over spring break, and be sure to have some fun.

Soak Up The Sun On The Green

Now that spring is in full bloom, it’s time to take advantage of the warm weather. Why not spend some time soaking up the sun on the green? You can bring along some friends, or simply sit back and relax alone. A little vitamin D is good for the soul.

Grab Some Main Street Munchies

We all have our go-to grub on Main Street. Whether it’s half-price nachos at Kate’s or a delicious NDB bagel, go grab your favorite and enjoy!
