Q: Tell us about the clubs and organizations you are involved in here at UConn.

A: “I am involved in the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.  In addition, I work the open houses and am a Husky For a Day Ambassador.   I am also a Mooyah employee!”

Q: Tell us more about your involvement with the Frisbee team.

A: “I got involved this year.  Our primary season is in the Spring, but right now, the new members are being taught/welcomed.  People of all different ages are involved- you don’t need any prior experience.  Anyone is welcome!  It’s a lot of fun… I recommend it.”

Q: What is your role as a Husky for a Day Ambassador?

A: As an ambassador, I pick up the high school student(s) in the morning that I’m paired with.  We get paired with students in our major or a major related to ours.  We spend the day giving them a campus tour, answering questions, showing them a residents halls, taking them to class, etc.  I had a lot of difficulty choosing a school, so I enjoy helping high schoolers go through this process.”

Q: How has your involvement in these organizations impacted your UConn experience?

A: “My involvement has made me feel more apart of UConn.  I have met so many more people and have been challenged to do so many new things.  I am definitely busy but am learning how to balance my time.  I recommend getting involved because it really adds to the whole UConn experience.”
