Calling all of the fellow Wildcats… High School Musical 4 is a go.
It has been a decade since the release of the original HSM and 8 years since HSM3 hit theaters. Wildcat fans were heartbroken after having to say goodbye to Troy and Gabriella and watch them and the rest of the gang graduate. However, for all the dedicated High School Musical fans, there is good news. Disney has confirmed they are turning the beloved trilogy into a tetralogy and resurrecting the memories from East High in a new High School Musical.
The fourth HSM is officially in the works. The catch? A whole new set of characters will be cast to the East High family. However, Disney being Disney, there is always the possibility that members from the original cast will appear in cameos in the film. One thing that won’t change is that the West High Knights (aka the bitter rivals of the East High Wildcats) will be a part of the plot in HSM4.
Disney is planning a nationwide talent search for the new faces of HSM4. Locations and dates for auditions have not yet been announced. If you think you could be the new face of Disney Channel, stay tuned for new developments.
