Kaylie Pearson: Leaving a Legacy

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Arkansas chapter.

We’re (very sadly) saying farewell to this week’s Campus Celebrity, ladies and gents! Hailing from Flower Mound, Texas, Kaylie Pearson (pictured on right) has served as the Her Campus Co-Founder and Editor in Chief during this past year. This being her final year at the University of Arkansas, Kaylie reminisces that her favorite thing about Her Campus is that it’s an online magazine where you can read what so many other schools around the nation have to say.

Being a graduate, Kaylie gave us one piece of advice for current students: “I encourage everyone to enjoy every second of their time here and make the most of it because you will be graduating before you know it!”

Kaylie Pearson is a young woman with her work cut out for her, and we mean it. On top of being a double major in advertising/public relations and news/editorial, she is also in PRSSA. Kaylie proudly became a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha during her time at Arkansas, and served as VPIII-Recruitment Chairman in 2012-2013. In 2013, she served as Derby Days Chair!

“I absolutely loved being in a sorority these four years,” Kaylie says. “I would recommend that every girl coming up here next year go through recruitment, because joining Zeta was one of the best things!” The Her Campus team is definitely going to miss Kaylie, and the University of Arkansas will as well! From everyone at Her Campus, we wish you the best of luck on all of your endeavors. HXCO!
