Can You Dig It?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Trinity chapter.

As Fashion Week begins to roll over into Fashion Month, it’s time to reflect on the top trends from New York’s Fall 2015 Fashion Week, appropriately shortened to nyfw for those short of breath or patience. Let me do you a solid and give you the skinny on what the next groovy thing will be come next fall. In short, the 70s are everything. In the case that you’re (weirdly) not in the mood for a marathon of outfit inspiration from The Brady Bunch, Charlie’s Angels, or Three’s Company, peep my top three picks for best trends to try in real life below.

On The Fringe:

This trend rolled over from last season’s fashion week and doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere – well, aside from the direction it sways when worn.

Fur Real:

Okay, you’ll have to excuse my bad pun because, techinically, the fur we’ve been seeing is both real and faux. However, both seem to be chock-full of different colors and hues.

Ring My Bell:

Ring my bell bottoms, that is. Forget your old skinny jeans, or even boot-cut for that matter, because bell bottoms and flares will be back in full swing come September.

That’s A Wrap:

You bet it’s a wrap! Alternatively, though, it may be a scarf, poncho, or miniature blanket. Whatever way you look at it, this trend is practically guarenteed to keep you warm in the cooler fall months.
