Jennifer Eguzoro

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Towson chapter.

“Our mission is to lead students to Christ so that we can prepare reliable men and women God can entrust with His word for the next generation,” said Jennifer Eguzoro, 21, President of Bethel Campus Fellowship. “At Towson, our goal is to be a family that grows in Christ.”

Bethel Christian Fellowship is a Christian organization on Towson University’s campus that educates its members about Christ through fellowship, praise and worship and bible study.

Jennifer Eguzoro began attending Towson’s Bethel Campus Fellowship in 2012, spring semester of her freshman year.

“I started attending my freshman year then joined the executive board one year after that as events coordinator and fundraising and community service coordinator. By spring semester of 2014 I became president,” Eguzoro said.

Since she’s been apart of the executive board, this organization has been one of the top 10 organizations on campus for obtaining 150 hours of community service in one semester in both Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. The organization hosts many outreach events. One of their popular events is during spring where they give out free Rita’s ice. Other events are hosted to get personal with their members. For example, prayer is provided to those who want prayer.

“We’re a peaceful organization. We provide a getaway from the stress of college and we’re an accepting organization,” said Eguzoro.

Bethel Campus Fellowship meets from 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. on Mondays in the Loch Raven room in the student union. Can’t make it to that on time? No worries! They also meet on Wednesdays in the ministry room from 8:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
