Top Brunch Spots in Philadelphia

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

After a long week of classes, a stressful evening at work or even a hard night of partying (no shame), nothing is better than a delicious brunch get-together on the weekend.

I avoid going to J&H and the SAC at all costs. Not only because I’m a senior and no longer have a meal plan, but also because Philly is one of the best brunch cities in the country.

Next time you’re looking for a Saturday or Sunday brunch spot with your friends, family or significant other, try out one of these affordable and satisfying restaurants – all within two miles of Temple’s campus.

Sabrina’s Café

1804 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Woke up late? Not a problem. Sabrina’s serves breakfast all day. This Philly-based BYOB café is famous for their delicious, home-made brunch specials and cleverly themed menus. Sabrina’s Café also has locations in University City and the Italian Market area, as well as Wynnewood, Pa.

Green Eggs Café

They recycle all paper products, aluminum, glass and plastic, and compost all food and organic waste. Green Eggs’ herbs and spices are grown from their rooftop garden. They also have three locations in Philly: Northern Liberties, South Philly and Midtown Village.

Honey’s Sit ’n’ Eat
