Meet this week’s Campus Cutie, Connor Wanhanen!

Year: Freshman, Class of 2018

Major: Business

Hometown: Flower Mound, TX

Activities: TCU Baseball

Relationship Status: Single

Q: What do you hope to do after college?

A: “Ideally I would like to play baseball as long as possible. If and when that ends, I would like to use a degree from Neeley to work in a to-be-determined field of business while living with my family here in the North Texas area.”

Q: Ideal first date?

A: “Dinner, just to get our feet wet and see if there is anything there.”

Q: What do you look for in a girl?

A: “I have to be able to talk to her about anything (especially sports) and be my sarcastic self around her. She has to be active, but also okay with just relaxing due to the time commitment of our baseball schedule. And, if a girl is intelligent, it just makes her that much more attractive.”

Q: Favorite place in Fort Worth?

A: “Lupton Stadium.”

Q: Favorite childhood TV Show?

A: “My little sister and I couldn’t get enough of Full House.”

Q: Favorite movie?

A:American Sniper and Lone Survivor. I’m forever humbled by what military men and women sacrifice for our freedoms on a daily basis.”

Q: Dogs or cats?

A: “Dogs, without a doubt.”

Q: How long have you been playing baseball?

A: “It’s been 15 years now… weird to think about.”

Q: Favorite thing about the sport?

A: “It makes it interesting never knowing who is going to be the guy to have the great game on any given day. We truly have to rely on each other to accomplish our goals and knowing that there are 34 guys that have your back is very reassuring.”

A: Favorite thing about TCU?

Q: “Besides the parking, I love everything about TCU.”
