What is something you’re passionate about?
I volunteer at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. I am an aid to a heart surgeon and entertain the young children about to go in for serious surgical procedures. My cousin, and best friend growing up, was diagnosed with leukemia. Because of this, being able to help children going through tough medical times is very important to me. I was by my cousin’s side in the hospital room playing games and bringing him food throughout the entire year he was sick. Our time together made me empathetic to other children going through similar health battles.
