Tim Tebow is much more than just the hot football stud who loves Jesus, he’s a man who uses his fame to serve those around him. Seven years ago, he founded the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Tim Tebow Foundation is a nonprofit that “bring(s) Faith, Hope, and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.” His nonprofit serves children with life-threatening illnesses, people with special needs, orphans, and many others worldwide. How amazing is that?!
I was lucky enough to participate in Night to Shine. In summary, “Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs ages 14 and older.” This year, “375 churches, from around the world, hosted Night to Shine for 75,000 honored guests.” On this night, people with special needs are treated like royalty. The red carpet is laid out, hair and makeup services are offered, rocking DJs are playing jams, there’s a photo booth, amazing food is served, and so much more! Heck, it was nicer than my own senior year prom!
My date Jordan and I danced our hearts out, took tons of photos, played with therapy dogs, hung out with friends, and just had a great time. Jordan even got her groove on with an officer! Night to Shine definitely shines a bright light on some amazing people.

We are all wonderful and we are all beautiful. Everyone in this world deserves to be celebrated for who they are. Night to Shine 2017 was one for the books and I cannot wait until next year’s prom. You can either catch me out on the dance floor belting out the latest T-Swiz song or getting a lot of love from the therapy dogs!
