Did you know that around 57 million Americans have special needs? That’s almost 19% of the US population! 1 out of every 5 Americans has some type of disability. Did you know that only 35.2% of people with disabilities are employed? Did you know that people with disabilities who are employed make around $763 less per month than their “fully functioning” friends? How crazy is that?! Why are these numbers so low you ask? People with disabilities face discrimination of all kinds, but especially in the workforce. They too want to be contributing members of society. They too want to earn a paycheck. They too want to have a chance to be successful and independent. People with disabilities are no different from you and I! They also have dreams, aspirations, and goals and they DESERVE to be given that chance to succeed!

Here you will not only enjoy yummy food and amazing lattes, but you are helping employee my friends with disabilities! They give these very special people purposeful and meaningful jobs! They give people in the special needs community a chance to succeed and opportunities!
