Calling all fashionistas! HC South Carolina is here to tell you about an amazing company that one of our own, Mandy Bidinger, recently became a part of. Trend Tribe is a New York-based accessories company that not only sells affordable jewelry, but also gives back to philanthropic organizations and helps young college women (much like yourself) achieve their dreams of working in the fashion industry.
The company was started by Samantha Cooper who at the time was a freshman in college. She did not want the average internship filing papers and getting coffee, so she decided to start her own jewelry company. She is now the founder and CEO of Trend Tribe and is driven to help college students who are trying to land their dream job.
College students can apply to be campus ambassadors called “trendsetters” and will increase their industry skills enormously while earning free jewelry as well as benefiting a philanthropic organization of their choice! Each month the trendsetters will showcase their jewelry in a trunk show, gaining hands on experience in marketing and sales. They also have access to professionals in the industry as well as a chance to attend Trend Tribe’s Leaderships Summits in New York City. Here is what you can do!
