Ah, Halloween: the one day of the year where it’s encouraged to step out of your own skin and become someone or something completely different from yourself. It’s a holiday where you get to showcase your creativity (or your body…or both, if you’re lucky). But at what point does creativity become absurdity? Here are 12 costumes which I felt crossed that line.
1) NYC Pizza rat
A video of a rat carrying a slice of pizza in a New York City subway went viral. Now, you can dress up as this celebrity for Halloween!
2) The DRESS
Another Internet phenomenon that you can wear, while also pissing off everyone who didn’t wish to be reminded of the epic color dilemma.
3) Marijuana Baby
And the award for “Parent of the Year” goes to…
4) Nurse High
…not quite sure how the two relate
5) Mangina
This costume speaks for itself…although I’d perfer its lips stay sealed
6) Birthing woman
The miracle of life, oh so wonderfully depicted
7) Sexy straight jacket
Because nothing screams sexy like “mentally institutionalized”
8) Nudists
Yes, because who doesn’t want to be fake-naked alongside their family?
9) Marlboro Baby
Looks like we have another contestant in the running for “Parent of the Year”
10) Sexy Ebola Nurse
No. Just no.
11) Butcher and Cut-Up Pregnant Woman
Well…that’s one way to perform a C Section
12) Man Having Sex with his Sheep
This is where I draw the line. I’m out.
