6 Signs You’re Ready for Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at South Carolina chapter.

With February upon us, the month of love is slowly becoming the month of something else: SPRING BREAK ANTICIPATION! Spring break is a holiday in itself, and the preparation for it is long and tiring. From planning to daydreaming, the spring break countdown feels just like the summer countdown of your grade-school days. That being said, here are some clear signs that you are ready for spring break:

1. Your Shopping Cart is Filled with Bikinis and any other spring break apparel you might need.

Let’s be real, vacations are the most fun to shop for, and a vacation with your friends makes it that much better. By February, the anticipation has grown to the point where your online Victoria’s Secret bag is completely full.

2. You’re Already Planning What Pictures To Take.

This might sound a bit basic, but it’s true. Optimal group pictures, or pictures with your sorority/school flag has definitely crossed your mind while anticipating spring break. Plus, everyone knows that angles are everything.

3. School Just Isn’t As Interesting.

You love USC, but the winter blues have gotten to you. The carefree days that await you are the only thing that can revive you from this slump.

4. You Already Made A Pinterest Board.

This is filled with any and every spring break idea you could find. There’s no lack of useful gadgets, easy recipes or outfit ideas for spring break…and you’re DYING to try them out.

5. Treadmills Start Trumping Pizza.

This inevitably happens in the attempt to get in shape before spring break rolls around. As much as you cry yourself to sleep over “Tasty” videos, you know that your bikini will thank you in the end. Plus, you might even keep your new habits afterward!

6. Everything Is Signed, Sealed, and Delivered.

This is more logistical, but it’s true. With your trip all sorted out, the only thing left is to wait—and that might be the worst part. All you can do is sit back, and keep on counting down the days!
