For the first time this spring, SMU will be having fashion week. All the details on fashion week were given to collegiate’s in a prior interview. If you are like me you read the article with excitement and thought to yourself, “Who is Grace Davis?” I had the opportunity to talk with Grace and learn more about the girl who started it all.
1. Describe your personal style in three words:
Sophisticated, colorful, fun.
2. Who is your style icon and why?
Sarah Jessica Parker/Carrie Bradshaw because she’s not afraid to express herself through clothing and take risks.
3. Who is your dream speaker for fashion week?
I think to have an editor from a major magazine would be really fantastic!
4. What is the best piece of advice you have for those interested in fashion?
Go for it! Whatever your passion is, just start doing it!
5. What is your favorite memory from SMU?
My favorite memories from SMU are bid day freshman year and all the amazing times I’ve had with my closest friends I’ve made at SMU.
