5 Pinterest accounts every collegiette needs to follow…after finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SMU chapter.

With summer right around the corner, you’re about to have a lot more free time on your hands.  And even though you constantly complain about hating the school year, by the end of July you’ll probably be dying to come back.  We all experience summer boredom at some point, and if you too love using Pinterest, then that’s probably how you’ll spend those beach unfriendly days.

To the seasoned “pinner,” finding new boards to follow is crucial for keeping yourself busy with fresh ideas.  So here’s a list of accounts to check out for a continuous flow of new inspiration in fashion, lifestyle and more!

Blair Eadie // Atlantic Pacific

“Atlantic-Pacific” is a street style blog by Blair Eadie, where she posts amazing outfit inspiration daily.  You can see and pin all of the photos from her blog on the board, and you can view her other boards and pins ranging from color palettes to adorable animals.

Harper’s Bazaar

For a continuous barrage of new fashion and beauty products, check out Harper’s Bazaar’s Pinterest account!  You’ll have access to the latest runway, red carpet and backstage photos, plus their “best of” lists for each season!

Martha Stewart Living

For delicious recipes, adorable crafts and amazing organization ideas who better to look to than Martha Stewart?  The seemingly limitless list of boards will inspire you to clean out your closet, organize your kitchen and try new activities like crocheting and flower arrangement!  You’ll find tons of activities to fill a summer day!

The Sorority Secrets

This account is full of boards on sorority and campus life!  You’ll find inspiration ranging from what to wear to class to apartment decorating ideas (wink wink to all you sophomores finally moving off campus)!  You’ll also find tips for your sorority and even holiday inspiration!

Vogue Magazine

Follow “The Ultimate Vogue Wedding” board for some of the most glamorous bridal photos you’ll ever see.  What better way to spend a rainy day than planning your future wedding?  You can also see stories from the Vogue archive as well as photos from past Met Galas and fashion weeks.

Word to the wise; try not to follow these until after finals are done!  You don’t want to get sucked into pinning everything you see and run out of time to study!  But if you’re looking for a rainy day activity, check out these accounts and they’ll be sure to keep you busy until the Sun comes out!  Don’t forget to also follow Her Campus for the latest fashion, beauty and lifestyle inspiration!
