DIY crafts are all over the Internet these days. If youʼre like many of us, youʼve probably “pinned” tons of great crafty ideas, but have you actually done any of them? Our guess is no. So throw a small DIY party with your closest gals and get to those projects already! Choose a theme (we like interior design) and go to a site like Craft Gawker for ideas. Youʼll be surprised at the number of projects that donʼt require buying new supplies. Now, when someone compliments your cool lampshade, youʼll be able to say, “Oh, that? Yeah, I made it.”
Be That Cliché!
You probably guessed that Spa Night would make the list, but how could it not? So go all out for this one. Set up a Lush-esque hand therapy station, complete with a scrub, a bowl of hot rinsing water, and moisturizer to finish. After your hands are irresistibly soft, start the manicures. Go wild and choose some nail-art designs youʼve never tried before! Holiday theme, anyone? If youʼre feeling really ambitious (and you have willing friends) repeat the same process for your feet—theyʼre important too. Gather your girls, pair up, and start the luxurious process. Uneven number of girls? Odd girl out has to read the latest Cosmo sex tips out loud. Weʼre going for cliché, remember…
Red or White Wine?
Hold the sweat pants for this one, ladies. Just because you and your girls are staying in, doesnʼt mean you have to lose that fun sexy spark. Dress up (heals, skirt, the works) and spend the night gossiping over a bottle of wine (or two). We can almost promise itʼll turn into a private dance party as the night goes on.
