I’m gonna be honest with you… As I came out of my first Senior meeting last week, all I wanted to do was cry, or laugh, or hug someone… maybe all of the above. This year is going to be hard, but the Class of 2017 will at least get to experience it together.
Believe it or not, the cast of Friends also seems to sympathize with the feelings we will face this year.
1. Facing the idea of needing to figure out your future…
2. The advice adults give you about your future…
3. Wishing that it was easy being an adult…
4. Feeling like some people have it all together and wondering how you can too…
5. Realizing you can be whatever you want to be!
6. But then you have 5 applications and 2 papers due the same week…
7. And you have to hear about everyone else’s plans to go out (while you stay in to do work)…
8. But you realize you need to be an adult…
9. But you only have a few months left in college…
10. So why not make time for both friends and work?
Truth is, we will probably go through these steps many times our Senior Year, but we can handle it… right?
