St. Ambrose has a new Student Body President, and her name is Sydney Worsham. I don’t know if drinking coffee is considered a hobby but I do really enjoy that.On campus I play soccer, I am involved in Dance Marathon, I am the President of the Student Government Association, and I work for Residence Life. I also LOVE intramurals. What is your dream job? My dream job would probably be to be a professional rap artist, I don’t really have any musical talent, but hey, a dream is a dream right?Plans after graduation? That would be to find a job so that I can get a dog. I really love dogs a lot. Who is your biggest role model? My role model is my older sister Sam. She is one of the hardest working people I know! Why did you decide to become a part of SGA? I joined SGA my junior year because it seemed like a great way to get things done, also I was in student government growing up and I just really like the opportunities that it presents! Before becoming President I was a junior class senator, and I was on the Student Relations Committee. What is your favorite part of SGA? My favorite part is when we put on a big event, or someone wants to get involved. Talking to people who come to meetings or have an issue on campus that they want to discuss shows me what a great community this is and how we can to come together to take action and solve problems.Do you have any advice for underclassmen? Get involved. There is so much to do on campus, and it’s a great way to make friends and have a good time! What are you looking forward to most this year both as a senior and SGA president? As a senior I am looking forward to having a great year with my friends, and getting to Snowstar this winter because I found out that I love to snowboard last winter, so I am all jacked up about that. Also very excited for graduation! As for SGA I am very excited about Bee The Difference Day, as well working with the exec board. Avalon, Jordan, Doug and I had our first exec meeting last week and we are really excited to get the ball rolling! What is your favorite quote or motto to live by?“You can have anything you want if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”- Abe Lincoln  What are three things people don’t know about you?  1) I can unicycle 2) I can juggle 3) i cannot unicycle while juggling (YET)
