Meet this week’s campus celebrity, Makenzie Newton. Some people call her Kenzie, some Kenz, but those that really know her call her Dayle.
She is fourth year member of the SAU Dance Team and participates in campus events like Dance Marathon and Bee the Difference Day. When Kenzie is not spending her time dancing, she interns at the Figge Art Museum.
Spending time with her roommates and friends is very important to Kenzie. She can never pass up the two-for-one deals on Thursday nights. She is also an avid MTV watcher. If you ever want to know what happened on The Challenge or Teen Mom, Kenzie is your go-to girl.
If you don’t already think Kenzie is one of the coolest people on this campus, she once shot two deer while standing inside her house. After graduation, Makenzie plans to move back home to Peoria to work. But first, she will be taking a very long vacation with some of her friends to Florida.
And Kenzie would like to add “GO BEES! BUZZ BUZZ!”
