As Hell Week quickly approaches, you’re probably looking for something to do that won’t leave you hungover the next day. I’ve found the perfect place to go to de-stress for a few hours. Just a short drive away on the other side of the Centennial bridge is ComedySportz in Rock, Island, IL.
ComedySportz is the longest running show in the Q.C. and has been making people laugh until they cry since early 1990! They offer two different shows every weekend, on both Friday and Saturday night.
The first show is the ComedySportz act at 7 P.M. and tickets are $12 for general admission. This show is rated E and is perfect for every age and will definitely put a smile on your face.
The second show starts at 9:30 P.M. and is a little raunchier. This late-night activity is perfect for us busy Bees who want to be distracted from our responsibilities for a few hours. This show is a bargain at only $5 for general admission and every weekend the show is different; you could go every weekend and never see the same show twice!
Along with their show in Rock Island, they will bring the comedy to you with their traveling group called Guys in Ties. They have performed at SAU a few times courtesy of CAB, and I can say from experience they are funny!
