Yeezus Needs Jesus: Kanye Cancels Tour

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Salisbury chapter.

What in the “Flashing Lights” is wrong with Kanye West?!

This past weekend fans have been enraged with the way West has been treating them during his Saint Pablo Tour. On Nov. 19, West showed up an hour and a half late to his Sacramento, CA show. He also cut his show short by just performing three songs and going into a rant about rapper Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé and politics.

The 39-year-old rapper went on a rant sharing with his fans that Jay-Z should call him and “talk to him like a man.”

West also shared with his fans that he did not participate in the election this year and if he did he would have voted for Donald Trump. The audience then began to boo him off the stage.

When West dropped his mic, the concert was unfortunately over after 15 minutes and fans were confused and were asking if this is really happening. Sacramento Kings Center DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins was in attendance and shared the following on his Instagram Story:

“Kanye performed three songs and bounced,” Cousins said. “He bounced on us bro, Kanye bounced!”

After his Saturday show out, West cancelled his Los Angeles tour date the next day. Ticketmaster is refunding everyone their money back after Saturday’s performance there has not been an update about a refund for the Los Angeles show.
