Underrated Restaurants of Salisbury: Manna Korean Cuisine

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Salisbury chapter.

Manna has been open since 2015 and many Salisbury University students are still unaware of its existence. It is located next to the Pat’s Pizza on route 13, at 1147 S. Salisbury Blvd. #9, Salisbury.

The restaurant is generally small, but what it lacks in room it makes up for in cleanliness. The Korean style restaurant has 35 unique items on their menu, from something simple as dumplings or fried chicken wings, to meals such as tang su yuk, deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce.

Their hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday but, they are closed on Sunday. Their prices range from $6-$20, but they have a $10 minimum if you want to pay with a credit or debit card. The restaurant’s food caught my eye while hanging out with my friends in seagull square.

One of my closest friends asked if I wanted to go, and offered to walk with me. We took the tunnel under route 13 and crossed the street to get to the Pat’s parking lot. From there you can see the small Manna sign. Be ready to be greeted when you enter.

The service at Manna is fairly fast and the employees are always friendly. It’s a great spot to enjoy a lunch date or dinner with friends.
