Every year, the Superbowl Halftime Show makes major headlines. The media always waits in anticipation for the famous performer to be announced, and this year, the legendary Lady Gaga was the chosen one. Our girl Lady Gaga is well-known as a genuinely talented artist, but as we all know, she also likes to put on quite the show…here were probably everyone’s thoughts during this year’s halftime:
“Lady Gaga totally killed it”.
Lady Gaga was unbelievable ~as usual~ for her Superbowl Halftime performance! She hasn’t been in the spotlight for a while, so it was nice to see her performing like she never left.
“Finally, a famous person who isn’t trying to create a huge political uproar during a performance”.
I think the best part of Lady Gaga’s performance was her opening by singing “God Bless America”. She simply made a statement about how the country needs to stand as one nation again. I can’t think of another celebrity who could’ve done a more amazing and subtle political statement, especially after the publicized issue with Colin Kaepernick not standing for the National Anthem. The Superbowl should be a night that the entire nation is excited to watch.
“Wow, she’s almost dressed normally!”
I guess after many years of performing, Lady Gaga’s finally ready to let her audience see her eyes. Of course her signature ostentatious style wasn’t completely left out; she had amazing winged sparkly cutouts that made her eyes look amazing.
“Her dance moves were interesting, to say the least…”
From flying through the stadium to being shaken in the air by her dancers, Lady Gaga certainly knows how to catch an audience’s attention. Her dance moves are always out there, but this performance was second to none.
“Does the every female superbowl performer decide not to wear pants?”
Don’t get me wrong, she looked absolutely stunning, but why do female performers seem to always wear a leotard type of costume? From Beyoncé last year and Lady Gaga this year, it seems like the new trend is no pants at all!
Overall, Lady Gaga gave an unbelievable performance; many are claiming that this was the best Halftime Show of all time. Deep down we all missed her crazy outfits and we’re all her little “Monsters”.
