Who are you/What do you do/etc.
I’m a Residence Life Coordinator at the Honors College. It’s my second year working professionally at Rutgers! I have a bachelors in Psychology and Anthropology and Masters in College Student Affairs.

What are some of the things you’re involved in at Rutgers?
Let’s see, outside of working in the Residence Life Department, I sometimes teach students in transition seminar and regularly teach an RA class. This spring break, I was a Staff Partner with Rutgers Alternative Break this year, and I’m also an Advocate for VPVA.

What’s your favorite thing you’ve done at Rutgers so far?
Oh gosh, I’ve been here for 8 years. Definitely a big thing was when I realized I wanted to work at Residence Life. During undergrad, I loved my leadership sorority I was in, Iota Sigma Beta, as well as joining Scarlet Listeners and participating in the marching band.

What motivates you?
Feeling of accomplishment. Sometimes I allow myself to have a non-productive day, but I always make sure do one thing even if it’s small.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I do really like exercising. I love going to group fitness groups, and BodyPump is my favorite. It’s like a weight-lifting, strength training class. Also of course, love playing with my cat, Rutgers.

If someone were to make a movie about your life, who would you want to play the lead role?
Anne Hathaway. She’s tall, white, and brunette, so we have the similarity in looks, and the basics are there. But also I love the movies she’s been in and the characters she played. She’s a nice person and has a lot of strengths in leadership qualities too which is why she’s great.

If you had a time machine, would you go back in time to see the past or go into the future to see how life will turn out?
I’d go back to the past, just to see how it was like. Take a quick peek around, just out of the curiosity from my anthropology side. But I wouldn’t want to stay there, just visit.

What’s something you want people to know about you that they don’t already?
What I’d like everyone to know really is how I try to make an effort of giving people the benefit of the doubt, and I wish people did that more often.

What are your best qualities?
I’m a very good listener, and I’m very empathetic. I’m positive! I’m a realist but I’d like to say I’m optimistic realistic.
