What are some of the things you’re involved in at Rutgers?
RHA is the place I’m most involved with right now. I’m the treasurer, but I’m really involved because I love my hall and the people in it.
What’s your favorite thing you’ve done at Rutgers so far?
I really liked the women’s ultimate frisbee team even though I didn’t have enough time to stay with it. It was really fun, got me moving too, and had great people on the team. I was able to make a few of the first practices before school hit me hard, but I really enjoyed those times.
What motivates you?
My parents. They’ve gone through some crazy stuff to come to America. I don’t feel out of place at all, and I think it’s thanks to them and their hard, hard work.
What scares you?
Compliments because I don’t know how to react to them.
If someone were to make a movie about your life, who would you want to play the lead role?
Can I play myself in this movie haha. If I could, I would. I tend to make faces a lot, and I’m not ashamed. If I can’t, then I’m not sure. Maybe Anna Akana just because I like her and her values and attitude.
If you had a time machine, would you go back in time to see the past or go into the future to see how life will turn out?
Future, but like year 3000 or something. That’s enough time for some things to actually change you know? Also I’m curious about how the environment will be by then. Will we live underwater?? Haha the only song I know from my childhood.
What’s something you want people to know about you that they don’t already?
I know almost nothing about pop culture, celebrities, and the 90s because I had no cable or internet or anything really as a child. I had a sheltered childhood, so now I’m all like, “Wait who is that guy, should I know him?” I’m catching up though. It’s Gucci.
