Just the Little Things: Avoiding Post-Spring Break Blues

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Quinnipiac chapter.

Yes, Collegiettes, Spring Break is over…but there’s still so much to do before the school year ends! Here are the Top 10 things that make post-Spring Break life awesome:

1. Half of spring semester is over… That also means that this harsh winter is on its way out!

2. Midterms are either over/almost over and that’s enough to be thankful for in itself.

3. Every day that you power through gets you even closer to summer break.

4.  Swimming in the lake in the Sleeping Giant State Park.

5. Shorts… Shorts, crop tops, flip flops, tank tops… Bring on the warmth!

6. Hanging out and tanning on the quad.

7. Hiking Sleeping Giant.

8. All the flowers and trees blooming around campus (minus theirdreadful scent)

9. Running outside again (without freezing your perfectly toned buns off).

10. MAY WEEKEND!!! (Need I say more?)

So, right now, we’re all feeling a bit like this:

But, instead, let’s start feeling a bit like this:

QU students sound off to the question, “What are you most looking forward to during the remainder of the spring semester?”

Caitie Nesi: “I’m 100 percent looking forward to May Weekend! And for warmer weather!”

Adam Gloub: “Kicking some ass on the rugby field with the boys on New Blue.”

Zachary Blanchard: “I’m looking forward to securing an internship for this summer, be it in the city or a little closer to home.”

Cary Adams: “I’m looking forward to hanging out with my friends and doing well on my tests.”

What are YOU looking forward to most during the rest of this semester? Tell us by tweeting @hercampusqu
