Two weeks into the spring semester and Penn State University is back to exactly how we remembered it: covered in snow and glistening with ice. We’ll admit, it’s easy for us to complain about the weather around here. I mean, there are schools being temporarily closed left and right while we’re stuck dragging our butts to class and praying to God we don’t slip for the fifth time that day. It can be tough, but as much as we wish for sunny days, we also appreciate the magic of a State College winter. Sure, the sidewalks may be slushly and the streets dirtied with salt, but taking one look at Old Main or even something as simple as the frosted trees outside your dorm window, and we are all reminded why we love this campus so very much. Be it fall, spring, summer and yes, even winter, the beauty of the Penn State campus will always shine through.
