Unless you’ve been in a committed relationship for a decent amount of time, you’re probably freaking out over what to get that ~special~ someone for V-Day. His favorite candy is a given but depending on where your relationship stands, a pack of Reese’s and Sour Patch Kids isn’t going to cut it as a present. Here are a few things that you can get for your boo that won’t end up sitting on his desk or in his sock drawer.

A Gift Card to His Favorite Food Place

A guy’s got to eat! Pick up a gift card from his favorite donut, coffee, or sandwich shop. If it’s his favorite place you know that this gift won’t go to waste. If you’re lucky he might even take you with him! Then it’s a date and gift in one!

A Watch

I know that he can always just check his phone but that is simply not as classy. As a guy in college he’s got to be making moves towards his future. If you get him a nice piece of wrist candy you’re helping him on his road to success as he takes on interviews and networking events. It also helps him to look better in class because he can discreetly check the time when he’s bored rather than turning around to look at the clock or *gasp* pulling out his phone.

Tickets to a Game

This is nice because it is something that you two can do together. You don’t need to make sure they’re court-side or anything. Just make sure it is to a sporting event that he will actually enjoy or is his favorite. You get brownie points if its a rivalry game!

His Favorite Sports Team Gear

If you give him the tickets he is going to need something to wear! No? Is that just a girl thing? Either way, you can never have too much team apparel and they’re always coming out with new ways to support your favorite team.

Plan A Day Doing All His Favorite Things

If you ask me, this is the best gift that you could get him this V-Day. Like the sports tickets, this date is an experience that you can share with your bf. Make sure you go all out and be as thoughtful as possible. It’s a good gift that can show him that you’ve been listening to what he has been saying. Get his favorite meal, go watch a game, and end the night curled up watching his favorite movie. This idea varies from guy to guy so make sure you personalize it as much as possible.
