-Writing
I may have complained to everyone who would listen that I have a lot of writing to do because I’m a Professional Writing major. That sentiment kind of makes sense, and I did have a lot to handle, but I can see that the writing is helping. My writing is getting stronger.
-Friends
People shifted into roles that I didn’t know that they could this year. I found out that I needed someone else besides one friend and possibly found her. I also started to find a community that is generally with me. That felt really good.
-Family
The year didn’t start out too great on the family front. It did improve. I discovered that I have a lot of family members who will support me no matter what. I never entirely knew my cousins as well as I do now. I know that they will protect me and that not too many of them will stand in my way of doing what I need to do.
-Books
I feel like I got to read so much more this year. I figured out that reading makes other things a lot more bearable, so I did that more. It has really helped, and helped me to figure out what I want to do after college.
