We all have come to recognize Jon Hamm in our daily lives. Whether he’s lending his voice in Bob’s Burgers, hitting the big screen in films like Bridesmaids, or starring in his small show Mad Men, one thing is clear; Jon Hamm is not going anywhere any time soon.
Really, we could talk about all of his accomplishments like his Golden Globes, Emmy’s or other accolades he’s received as an actor. We could wonder about his personal life and question how far an actor should go in their role before it affects them as people and philosophize about the art of acting. But, that’s not the important topic at hand. What I really need to know is … Is Jon Hamm hot, or not?
Exhibit A
A polished Hamm lounges pensively. Going for the manly-man look, Hamm rocks the stubble and unkempt bowtie.The black and white filter adds a nice touch, but it leaves me to question; Does he look so rugged because of the black and white filter? Is he feeling as relaxed as his clothes suggest him to be? Does he want me to be wondering this? Is that what he’s wondering during this picture? Have we entered a Jon Hamm matrix?
Verdict: Hot
Hamm in his natural habitat is trying to smile at something that looks painful. Could it be that his intellectual girlfriend has made a cringe worthy reference to the bible and how it’s related to this year’s presidential election again? Or is his grandfather telling him racist stories again that he has to nod along to while pretending he’s not morally offended? Either way, the man’s smile is unnatural and his smize ability is equally lacking.
Verdict: Not
Lucky us, the paparazzi caught a nice shot of Hamm on set, doing his thing in between shots. The silver fox knows the importance of hydration, which we can all agree is hella sexy. Although, once again, the man just doesn’t seem to know how to smile. Bonus points for making a candid look so good, though.

Once again snagged by the paparazzi, Hamm is walking down the sidewalk like a true patriot and that’s what we love from our Americans. He keeps on proving to be a loyal member of The Hydration Nation, only less sexy this time. The only thing saving this man is his flawless head of hair.

Seriously, is his hair resistant to wind?? Teach me your ways, Jon Hamm! The man wears his age so well as he lets flakes of grey grow into his facial hair. The true sign of maturity in a man, my friends. His overall appearance gives off such a cool dad vibe that I’m going to have to give this one to him, since dad looks are in this year.

What is this? Did you leave your Puka beads at home, Jon? I understand that we all make mistakes but, some things you just can’t un-see.
Verdict: Not
Hamm showed up to the Emmys dressed for success. The man looks classy and authoritative in that tuxedo. He could give a conspiracy speech on how we never went to the moon and get funds pulled from NASA by tomorrow morning- oops sorry NASA, I shouldn’t taunt you with such bad news again. The only thing ruining this picture is that weird paper weight he brought onto the carpet with him. But overall, Hamm looks exactly how I like my coffee; alluring with the potential to give me acid reflux.

Hamm looks great in his Halloween costume portraying House from the popular television series. The only hitch is that it’s not Halloween yet. Hand him a poetry book and stick a pencil behind his ear because Hamm is giving us that vibe.
Verdict: Not
What can I say? After hours of research, it seems to be a toss up! The world wants Jon Hamm to be hot, Jon Hamm’s body wants him to be hot. He just seems to be battling his inner self too much to be able to land on his identity at the moment. Don’t worry Jon, we know you’ll work it out one day. Until then, we’ll keep on watching you pop up in all of our favorite shows and movies and trust that the paparazzi will keep doing its best to keep us updated on your life.
