You know it’s fall when you see this classic style walking around campus (and no I am not talking about Uggs). Plaid is a staple in every collegiate woman’s wardrobe and not to mention it had a huge moment on the fall runways. I’ve rounded up my favorite ways to wear this easy to throw on, timeless print.

Well all know how bipolar Ohio’s weather is and that can make dressing for the day a challenge. For those days when the afternoon is a bit warmer than how the day started out, take your favorite flannel and tie it around your waist

Almost everyone you see on campus during the fall has some kind of puffy vest on, and layering plaid underneath is a great way to amp up your style game. You can even go the extra mile and trade your puffer vest in for a fur one!

Not one for all out plaid shirts? That’s okay! You can still play with this print with accesssories like scarves, headbands (Blair Waldorf approved), and even your shoes!

Plaid pants are making huge waves for fall and are the perfect way to get plaid into your wardrobe. The best part about these pants, in my opinion, is you can pair them with almost anything and it looks amazing. I love adding a graphic tee of some kind, a turtleneck shirt or sweater to mine.

Step outside the box a little bit and experiment with a plaid dress or skirt. You can dress them up with a blazer or moto jacket or dress them down with a cardigan or jean jacket.
