Our generation consumes entertainment like no other. Between traditional television or films, Netflix or Hulu, and YouTube videos, we take in a lot of entertainment that ranges from a good distraction from our daily life to wholesome and educational content. Focusing on YouTube content, here is a list of 5 YouTubers to watch that are very wholesome and entertaining to watch and follow.

Jenna and Julien

These two are some of the most popular people on YouTube, and that is for good reason. Jenna Marbles and her boyfriend Julien Solomita have created a very tight-knit community through their weekly podcast and new found love for streaming on Twitch. Jenna has made weekly videos every Wednesday or Thursday for many years and lately, they have made the transition from funny sketches to different beauty challenges or doing things with or for her dogs. Julien also makes vlogs on his channel where he documents his life in a very real way. Both Jenna and Julien make very light-hearted videos for the most part that will undoubtedly brighten your day, but it is who they are as people that make them so wholesome to watch. Hence, Jenna’s velociraptor interpretation above.

Casey Neistat

Casey has been making videos on YouTube for a few years now, starting out with a daily vlog and now transitioning into a different type of daily vlog which he is calling 368. To learn more about this new daily vlog series and production company from him, you can watch this video. All of the videos Casey posts on his channel are in some way inspiring and motivating. He has told many amazing stories through his unique video style that you cannot help but binge. Casey often talks about how important hard work is and that you can do whatever you want to do if you really give it a shot. It is hard to not feel motivated after checking out his channel.

Shane Dawson

It’s a safe bet to say that most of us have heard of Shane Dawson. There has been a fairly recent change on Shane’s channel as well where he creates very intriguing video series about topics ranging from staying overnight in haunted places to helping other YouTubers like Grav3yardgirl spice up her dying channel. The newer content that Shane has been working very hard to create has been very meaningful content that is very personal. Shane’s passion for the new videos he is creating shows through.

Lexie Lombard

I subscribed to Lexie when I was a young teen because she was part of the beauty guru community in 2012-2013. As her channel has grown, Lexie has started to make very creative and unique content. She has a couple series on her channel that are very original. For example, her What High Schoolers are ACTUALLY wearing series where she goes to different high schools in different cities and interviews students to talk about their fashion choices. Her honesty and originality is very refreshing among the repetitiveness on YouTube.

Louis Cole

Louis is a travel vlogger who has been on YouTube for many years. I enjoy watching his videos because there’s always new scenery and he always has a very positive attitude. The most impactful video series on his channel were his travel vlog series in North Korea as well as a more recent series where he and a friend flew their own plane around the world. The North Korea vlogs were interesting for obvious reasons; no one ever gets to see what goes on in North Korea, but in his videos there is a small taste of what the country was willing to show. The World Flight series is simply amazing to watch because it’s the adventure of a lifetime. His entire channel goes by the motto, “Live The Adventure,” which he signs every video off with.

If you haven’t already, you must check out these very wholesome YouTubers!
