HC: So, Katie, did you enjoy the time you spent here at Oneonta?
KP:Yes! I loved the time spent here. They were the best four years of my life. I made so many friends that I’m still so close with today.
HC: What were your involvements in and off campus during your four years here?
KP: I was a part of the Communications Honor Society (Lamda Pi Eta). I also worked at Sabatini’s, which was a local family Italian restaurant. I met a lot of friends while working there. Also, I was a teaching assistant for one semester for a communications course with Dr. Doria.
HC:What are you doing now?
KP: I live in Astoria, Queens and currently work for a PR firm Fleichman Hillard. I work as a
working brand marketing coordinator
HC: What is your advice to current students to succeed?
KP: Do as many internships as you can. It wasn’t really a big deal when I went here but now I organize many internships and it’s a good opportunity to gain experience in your field.
Also, travel and study abroad. If you love to travel, make it a priority. I regret not studying abroad while I was in college, and I love to travel so I made sure to have time after college so I can travel, and it was amazing.
