The Fun Stuff:
What are some of your hobbies?
Rob: “One of my favorite things is to snowboard, especially when it’s towards the beginning of the season and it’s still a little bit warmer out. I love to play soccer with my dad when I’m home. I hate reading but sometimes I don’t mind a good book, I also love to play Fifa with my friends. I like to make my girlfriend happy and make her smile whenever I can. I also like to eat, especially over the summer when I can barbeque with my bros.”
If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be and why?
Rob: “umm…probably Leighton Baines because I would love to be able to nonchalantly have the amount of soccer skills that he does. I would love to be an Everton player as well as an England National Team soccer player. To be able to play a game that you love for a living seems like a fairly easy life that would be very exciting and wouldn’t get boring. He’s also rich soooo.”
What are you involved in on campus?
Rob: “ I am a member of the men’s soccer club team here at Oneonta.”
So, it’s obvious that the winter can get pretty rough up here at Oneonta, what are your favorite things to do during these freezing months?
Rob: “In the winter I love to snowboard, it’s one of my favorite things to do and I look forward to it all summer long. One of the things on my bucket list is to snowboard out west, in Utah or Colorado. My favorite mountains around here would have to be Plattekill or Okemo. Staying in to watch Netflix and eat takeout with my girlfriend isn’t too bad of a winter night either.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
Rob: “The United Kingdom because the people are nicer, the drinking age is lower and the scenery would never get dull.”
You seem like a pretty fashionable dude, what are your favorite stores to shop at?
Rob: “It depends…I like to shop online and get things from CCS.com. I also like stores like Zumiez, Nike and Pacsun.”
What would you do if you won the lottery and had to spend it all within a month?
Rob: “ I would buy a massive house on a compound, I would also buy a Mercedes McLaren SLR and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited… oh and an old refinished Ford Bronco too. I would grow my shoe collection very quickly and I would also invest a bunch of my winnings so that I could have enough money for the rest of my life to be able to buy whatever I wanted and support my wife and family. Oh and I would also build my own snowboarding resort, because why the hell not.”
If you were an ice cream flavor, what would you be and why?
Rob: “Mint Chocolate Chip or Cookie Dough because I’m a likeable guy and everybody likes those flavors. Those are also two of my favorites.”
