1. It’s a chance to start fresh. A chance to go somewhere away from home and meet new people. A chance to be who you truly want to be.
2. You have the ability to schedule your classes so that you never have to wake up early. Or maybe even make it so you don’t have Friday classes.
3. It is perfectly acceptable to drink coffee at any time of the day.
4. Since you’re on your own, you get to make up your own rules.
5. Living with your friends, there’s always someone there to talk to and hang out with.
6. There are lots of opportunities to get free stuff and free food around campus.
7. You learn to appreciate your family and your hometown more than you ever thought you would.
8. Being able to choose a major and take classes that actually interest you is such a valuable learning experience.
9. Overall, you learn so much, both in and out of the classroom. College is an amazing experience; you have lots of fun and truly find yourself at the same time!
