Ah, April Fool’s Day. It’s the best time of year – the time when it’s socially acceptable to prank all of your friends, coworkers and teachers. Please enjoy this lovely list of ideas, and if you use one, make sure to tag us on Twitter with #HCAprilFools!
Roommate Pranks
1. Steal your roommate’s mattress and put it in the bathroom. Make their sheets on top of the box springs.
2. Flip everything on your roommate’s side of the room, so it’s in the same place on the exact opposite side (i.e. make your roommate’s bed the opposite way, flip the items on their desk, etc.)
3. Wake up before they do, and fill up several glasses of water in plastic cups. Put them all over the floor. You’re welcome.
4. Change their phone lock screen to make it look like you’ve locked them out for 3 years.
5. Add food coloring to their breakfast.
6. Fake cry, and tell them you’re dropping out.
7. If they have an old stuffed animal, hide it, buy a new one, and tell them how sorry you are that you “accidentally” threw away their Mr. Snuggles.
8. Take away their towel when they shower.

Hall Pranks
10. Buy plastic wrap, and wrap over the toilet bowl.
11. Take a bouillon cube. Unscrew the shower head. Place cube inside and, when the water heats up, it becomes a soup shower.
12. Put a pair of pants/shoes in the bathroom, lock the door, and make it look like someone is in there.
13. Buy aluminum foil and foil over your neighbors doors. They’ll have to bust through to get out.
14. Make a flier with a friend’s number on it. On the flier, say that there’s a contest for the cheesiest pick-up lines. Specify that they cannot mention the contest to win, because it needs to be felt. Multiple entries are welcome. Winner gets $50.
15. Give them Play-Doh instead of gum.
16. Make them a homemade mashed potato sundae. Yum. (source: BuzzFeed)
