The Big Bang’s Theory’s premiere episode aired Monday night and as an occasional and sometimes binge-watcher of the show, it felt right that I write down my reactions to how the first episode of Season 11 went down! It is also fitting to examine the show this week as the title character, Sheldon Cooper, is often debated within the psychological community. Even though it is seen that Sheldon as a character sometimes exhibits Asperger-like characteristics and many view him with idiosyncratic qualities, I love the show’s ability to take such a matter with light-heartedness and depict a world where instead of suffering alone, Sheldon has all his friends and even his girlfriend giving him continuous love and support.
