Millersville University is searching for a new president.  There are currently six candidates on the lineup – Dr. John Anderson from New York, is the first to visit campus. 

Dr. Anderson was on campus from October 2-4, meeting with students, faculty, and the President’s Cabinet in two open forum sessions which were held in the Student Memorial Center.  Dr. Anderson is the President of Alfred State College in New York and is also the Executive Vice President and Provost at Hartwick College and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the State University of New York Institute of Technology.

Millersville’s search for a new president will continue throughout the year and as each candidate is confirmed, they will visit campus to hold open forum sessions. For more information on the search, please visit www.millersville.edu/presidentialsearch.

Joie Formando is an English major at Millersville University, with a concentration in Writing Studies and a minor in journalism and music. She loves to write and cook (which is a work in progress) and is looking forward to "becoming a grown-up" post-graduation! She is the Arts and Culture Editor of MU's newspaper, The Snapper, and an active photographer-in-training. She can play a few chords on the guitar (but you'll never catch her singing for anyone) and her biggest dream is to move to London and work for a children's book publishing company.
