So lately you’ve probably heard a lot about Love Your Melon. That’s becasue they are new to the ‘Ville!
Love Your Melon is an apparel brand run by college students across the United States. Their mission: to help children fight cancer by giving them hats to keep them warm during their treatments. Every hat comes with a personal visit of college students dressed as superheroes to brighten the child’s day.
Founded at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. on October 22, 2012, this charitable organization is commited to donating 45,000 hats to children fighting cancer. Love Your Melon also has a partnership with CureSearch and The Pinky Swear Foundation.
More than 9,000 college students and over 500 schools have Love Your Melon crews that are dedicated to informing their town about the mission of Love Your Melon. Our very own Millersville University has a Love Your Melon crew that is in the process of becoming a campus recognized organization.
