Your Ultimate Fall Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mercer chapter.

Fall is the kind of season that makes you want to curl up on the couch with a cup of warm tea, reading books or watching TV. Each of these songs was picked with care to evoke that mood, leaving you relaxed and wrapped in a bundle of calm ambient sounds. Most of these artists are up-and-coming, and chances are you’ve probably heard of them or heard their songs. Other artists are already well established, but have existed on the outskirts of the mainstream. Well, now’s your chance to give all of them a listen.

1.     The Funeral – Band of Horses

Popular Song(s): “No One’s Gonna Love You”

If you like them, you might like: Iron & Wine, Of Monsters & Men

2.     Sweater Weather – The Neighbourhood

If you like them, you might like: I honestly don’t know what sounds like The Neighbourhood. However, if you like The Neighbourhood’s aesthetics then you’ll probably like The 1975, who show up later in this list and both bands have toured together.

3.     Cool Kids – Echosmith

Popular Songs: “Tell Her You Love Her”, and “Come Together”

If you like them, you might like: Misterwives, Betty Who, Oh Honey

15. Truce – Twenty One Pilots

Hopefully after listening to these songs you feel at ease and have a clear mind. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful days the fall brings, and although summer has officially left the building, fall is here and ready to receive you with open arms.
