This week’s campus celebrity many of you have befriended in cyber space, but for those of you that don’t know she has literally been awarded the title of Miss Facebook and is none other than senior Jasmine Fuller.

 Majoring in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, this busy senior took a few moments to chat with Her Campus.

Her Campus: Where are you originally from?
Jasmine: Greenville, GA

HC: What made you choose Mercer?
Jasmine: The easiness of the application, but the people I met here made me stay.
 
HC: What clubs and/or honor societies are you involved with? Do you hold any officer positions?
Jasmine: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Social Chair, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Treasurer, Organization of Black Students President, Beta Beta Beta Member, and Gamma Sigma Epsilon Member

HC: What is a word that you would use to describe yourself?
Jasmine: Unique
 
HC: What inspires you?
Jasmine: Seeing others succeed inspires me and helping others any way that I can.
 
HC: What is your motto/ phrase that keeps you going?
Jasmine: “Sometimes you have to encourage yourself”
 
HC: What is a song that would be on the soundtrack of your life?
Jasmine: Just Fine by Mary J. Blige
 
HC: What’s your favorite food?
Jasmine: Banana Pudding
 
HC: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Jasmine: What spare time??
 

Jasmine has achieved much academic success during her tenure at Mercer and will be missed. She plans on attending medical school in the fall to obtain her MD/PhD and become a clinical researcher.

Hometown: Moultrie, GA College: Mercer University I come from a small town in the real South. I have always loved writing, and now, I am studying Journalism at Mercer. Look out for me. I have big dreams, and I am not backing down. I am a mystery just waiting to be solved.
