The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is only 15 minutes away and it is home to over 700 animals. This zoo offers a majority of unique viewing for every guest. Plus, there are new additions to the zoo this year! There’s a new baby Patas Monkey named D.J. There’s also new tiger triplets (two boys and a girl) named Yuri, Kuza, and Misha. And last but not least, there are new penguin chicks that are not yet named. It would be a shame to miss meeting these new babies, especially when it’s only $4-$8! Syracuse Stage is only 6 minutes away and is the home of many original productions, including new plays and daring interpretations of classics and musicals. For all of you collegiettes™ who love to go shopping, which I’m sure the majority of you do, you’re in luck! There are a bunch of stores waiting for you on Marshall St., only 10 minutes away! Marshall St. is technically part of Syracuse University campus, so if you’re an SU fan, like me, Manny’s is the store for you to find all of your SU apparel. There’s also J Michael Shoes, also known as heaven for girls who love fashionable shoes. For anb outfit for an upcoming party, Some Girl Boutique is the shop for you.
